First Home Buyers
If you’re purchasing a home for the first time, you may be able to claim the First Home Buyers Grant or possibly claim a concession on your stamp duty. The good news is, we can assist you with this process and determine if you are eligible.
If you are a first home buyer with little or no deposit, we can recommend and inform you of your options. For example:
- A member from your immediate family can provide you with a non-refundable gift
- An immediate family member can invest in a term deposit, and the lender will use the funds as a guarantee for your loan. This will allow your family member to earn interest from their invested funds.
- A member from your immediate family can provide their property to be used as a guarantee for your loan. The lender will typically require them to seek legal advice, so they are aware of their legal obligations before entering into the guarantor arrangement.
